So
our investigator Deborah also came to Blair's baptism and she loved it.
After the baptism she told us "Ya'll gone have to put more water in
there when I get baptized because I'm to heavy to go down that far."
hahaha she is hilarious. She is an african american woman that is in her
60's and has a thick southern accent. She sounds like she is from
Louisiana or something. So imagine her saying that quote. She cracks me
up! She is progressing so well. We are also teaching her daughter
Giovanni who really wants to get baptized as well. They are both still
working towards the 25th of November for baptism.
The
Lord has truly opened up the windows of Heaven for Elder Ravsten and I. We have
seen so many miracles, it is so amazing to witness. There is just so
much going on here. We are excited to teach these people about the
gospel of Jesus Christ and witness the Lord's hand in this amazing work.
It brings to mind the scripture in D&C 123:17
"Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed."
I love you all and hope you have a great week!
Love,
Elder Hallmark
