Almost Done!

Wow I can't believe it's already November. It seriously feels like we just started August haha. Time goes by so quick on a mission, I never get used to it. This week was a solid one. Deborah is still amazing. She cracks me up every time I see her. Every time she meets someone new in church she points to us and says "those my elders!" lol. She is so excited for her baptism on the 25th this month.

We were getting a little nervous about Kristen because they have been a little flaky recently and we weren't sure how committed they were. We had a great lesson with them last week and they talked about how they want this and she still really wants to be baptized. They are planning on getting married this week so that she can be baptized soon! We are looking forward to it.  We have been able to stay in good contact through Facebook messenger. That is such a blessing. We use it with almost all of our investigators. It just allows us to stay in contact every day. We send scriptures, videos, conference talks, etc.

This week what has made a big difference for me has been spending my evenings in a productive way. Usually when we get home at 9 we are tired from working all day so we just chill and do nothing. But I have been setting a goal for making sure I get at least 15 mins of scripture study in every night and writing in my journal. It has made the world of a difference. We always get an hour of scripture study in the morning, and that sets the tone for my day, and I but I when I do it at night, I go to bed feeling so much better about the day and feeling so much more productive. I am grateful for it. Its a habit I will try to keep throughout my life. I encourage you all to give it a try as well. When we keep our thoughts focused on Christ he will direct us. I love you all!

Love,
Elder Hallmark
