Stress free!

This was another very fast week. It seems as if they are constantly getting faster and faster. Part of the reason why this week went by so fast was I did not have any down time in the evenings like I usually do. As a district leader I have to prepare an hour and a half district meeting each week so I spent a lot of time doing that but what took away the other free time was I also had to prepare a talk I gave yesterday in sacrament meeting. So it feels good to start again this week with nothing to prepare for. This week is zone training so the Zone Leaders give a training to the whole zone. Which means the district leaders don't have to prepare anything. What a relief that is for this week. It will give me more time to reflect on the day, write in my journal, and extra personal study.

So something awesome that happened this week was when we brought someone we have been working with to church there were so many people that came up and said hi and just really made her feel welcome. It was so amazing to see them just love someone they don't even know. It really made the difference for her and she talked about how much she enjoyed church. There are some amazing people here. I am so grateful to be serving around them.

The miracle for this week was Haley's baptism. She was supposed to get baptized last Saturday with Kim but she ended up calling it off because she was having issues and didn't think it was what she wanted. But she messaged me earlier this week and said she had decided to get baptized on Saturday. It was so amazing to see her be baptized. Especially knowing her background and what all she had been through. She is truly someone that has been changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What privilege I have to witness firsthand the gospel of Jesus Christ change peoples lives. It is so amazing, and I thank my Heavenly Father for it every day. It always reminds me of how the gospel has changed my life.

With Love,

Elder Hallmark

Here is the picture from Haley's baptism. Elder Damon baptized her and I am standing next to Elder Pastor, his companion.

So we got so much food from members last week because of the holidays that we had enough for a whole week. This is all we bought in our weekly groceries.

We found a really cool bush in front of someone's house this week
