The Greatest Christmas Gift

This has been outstanding! I have loved every second of it. So on Wednesday we had the wonderful opportunity to go to the temple with President and Sister Jardine and the rest of the missionaries. It was so amazing to see everyone in the house of the Lord. I am grateful for every opportunity we have to go to the temple it is such a special place and I love every second I spend there.

The really special moment of this week was on Christmas Eve I had the special privilege of going back to the Del Campo Ward for a baptism. One of the investigators I had been working with for a while asked me to come back and baptize them. I felt so much joy as I was able to perform that ordinance for someone I had come to love. It was such an amazing experience to witness someone coming closer to Christ during this wonderful Christmas season. To be able to assist them in that sacred ordinance was one of the greatest Christmas gifts I could have ever received. I am so grateful for this gospel and the life changing ability it has as we live it. I am extremely grateful for my family and the opportunity I had to skype with them yesterday. I love them so much and I am so grateful for temples of God on the earth that allow us to be sealed to our families for time and all eternity. What a blessing that is.

Well this is another short email. There was a lot of stuff that happened but I am not the greatest in writing it out. I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas. I certainly did as I was able to visit others. I love the people here in Sacramento.

With love,

Elder Hallmark
