Transfer Time

This week was money. It was our last week of the transfer so It was a little slower but still super good. We met with Deborah and we are moving her baptism back one week to December 2nd. She said she wants to make sure she is really able to stop smoking. She has had a few slip ups but seems more dedicated now. We are grateful for her example and her desire to be baptized. She is still going strong with reading the Book of Mormon everyday and saying her prayers. There is definitely power in doing those things.

On Saturday I was able to go back to the Laguna Creek 1st ward for a baptism. That is where Elder Dougherty and I served together. It was one of my funnest areas. I love that ward. So we found and taught this guy named Bill Vice a couple of weeks before I left that area. I never heard anything more. Then the sisters who are in that ward reached out to me and Elder Dougherty and Invited us back for his baptism. It was great to be able to be apart of that and see how the seed Elder Dougherty and I planted ended up flourishing into a wonderful testimony. Bill is a remarkable man.

Well Transfers came and Elder Ravsten is heading out to the Rancho Cordova zone. I am staying here and my new companion is Elder Anderson. I was companions with him in the placerville and georgetown wards for 3 months! He was one of my favorite companions. I am soooo excited to be with him again. He is so funny. It will be a blast. I am grateful for what Elder Ravste

n has taught me though. He has helped me realize how much more I need to think about others. He is one of the most selfless and humble people I know and I truly learned from his example. I know that is why the Lord put us together.

Not much news in the way of new investigators. We found a few new this week but we will see where they go. They don't seem too solid but the work goes on. The Lord will keep blessing us with new people to teach. Sorry for the short email. There really wasn't much that happened this week. I love you all and hope you have a great week!

Love,

Elder Hallmark

Our last zone picture

On our P-day today we went over Cody's house to jam out haha. He is a member of the YSA here and he has some extra instruments. He is actually a super talented artist but this video is a joke.
