Raining Down Blessings

Wow, what a fantastic week. So I must say it does feel nice to be back in the Carmichael zone. I love it here. It has been such a blessing to see a lot of the past families I have served around! The biggest blessing was getting to visit the Palu family from the Del Campo ward. So when I served in the Carmichael zone last year we had lunch with the Palu's every Sunday after church. It was a tradition. It has been a year since I last saw them and we went to their house last Sunday to see them and It was like a party. They were so excited to see us and we had huge lunch with them, it was awesome. I love that family. I will forever remember them.

So the real miracles happened this week with our investigators. We had a lesson with one of our new investigators Kristen on Tuesday. We taught her the plan of Salvation and she talked about how she would like to live with her family forever in the Celestial kingdom. She told us how she is getting married to her fiance on November 5th and so we invited her to be baptized the following Saturday on November 11th! She gladly agreed and is now working towards that. She came to church yesterday with her 2 kids and she loved it. We are excited for her upcoming baptism.

We also had a great lesson with our new investigator Deborah. This was our first real sit down lesson with her and she talked about how she felt it was a sign from God that we came and knocked on her door because she has been feeling like she needs to change her life. We testified that the gospel of Jesus Christ will help her change her life and how it has been restored through a modern day prophet and then invited her to be baptized on November 25th. She is now looking forward to that.

Then we have been working with Blair in the College Oak YSA ward. She is planning on being baptized on October 28th. She has grown such a testimony recently. It is so amazing to be working with her as well. The Lord is truly raining down blessings upon us and I am so grateful to be here to witness it. This truly is his work. I love you all and hope you have a great week.

Love,

Elder Hallmark
