What a week this has been. Well it is officially the last
week of the transfer and I am curious as to where the time went. Before my
mission I did not think it was possible to have the days, weeks, and months fly
by this fast. I have a different perspective now.
So this week some of our progressing investigators decided
to stop meeting with us for various reasons and it was a little hard to have to
let them go. I loved both of them so much and they were really starting to grow
in the gospel. Unfortunately thats how it goes sometimes. I pray that Heavenly
Father will prepare them in his own way and that someday they will meet with
missionaries again and decide to be baptized. They are both such amazing
people. On the other hand I have seen an outpouring of blessings from our
heavenly father this week as well. We have found so many new people to teach
and it is amazing to have witnessed the miracles that happened this week. I am
excited to now begin working with these special sons and daughters of
God.
I am grateful for His eternal plan and the opportunities it
gives us to continue our progression past this life and to live in eternal
families. What a blessing. Sometimes when I think about the blessings that are
in store I wonder how anyone could turn down such a glorious gospel with a
loving heavenly father who is ready and anxious to rain down blessings upon
their heads forever. The gospel of Jesus Christ truly is the "good
news" in fact it is the best news in the entire world. I am grateful to be
out here sharing it for 2 years.
Love,
Elder Hallmark
