It's Raining, It's Pouring

Well this week has gone by in the blink of an eye. I feel like I sent my last weekly email out just yesterday. Its weird how quick time goes by on a mission. This week we had the opportunity to do a lot of service for others. We helped out with this huge book sale that the Fair Oaks library was doing, then again Saturday we helped a member in our ward move a bunch of wood from his backyard. He just recently cut some trees down to clear it out. It is always nice to get out of a tie and put on a t-shirt to serve others. This week has also been super rainy and since we are on bikes we have no choice but to deal with it. We have been soaked the whole time since I don't have a jacket. I was not expecting it to rain this much here, but apparently in the fall and winter here it rains most of the time.

On Friday we went on exchanges with the Zone Leaders. Elder Pennington (the one from Aubrey) came with me in my area, and Elder Damon went with Elder Scott in his area. It was the best exchange I have been on so far. Elder Pennington and I spent most of the time talking about Texas lol. There are definitely a few things I miss about Texas, mainly Whataburger. But other than that he is just a great missionary and friend. I look forward to hanging out with him when we both get home.

So this week we have been able to work with many less actives in our area. It has been amazing to see them progress. Some haven't been to church in years and now they are coming again. You can really see the difference it makes in their lives. They all seem so much happier. On Sunday we had two less actives families and another two individuals make it to church. It was so amazing to see them all there. I am so grateful for the opportunity we have to share this message with others and bring that pure happiness that can only come from the Savior Jesus Christ. I love the people we have the chance to serve. I am so grateful to be out here. There is no greater work in the world than to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Exchanges with Elder Pennington.

Here is my awesome district
