Well this week Florence stayed for all 3 hours!! We were so excited. She said she loved it! I will be honest I was a little nervous at first because there were some really weird people making some really weird comments during Sunday school, but apparently she loved it. We are just praying for her to have to courage to fully commit. Right now she is still struggling a little bit with leaving her other church because she feels comfortable. She called us yesterday and was having trouble because her pastor called her and was questioning her why she missed their church yesterday and went to ours. She could definitely use a lot prayers. She knows it true. She just needs to take that leap of faith and act on it.
The Lord has definitely blessed this area. We can see many new people whom the Lord has prepared to hear this great message of the restored gospel. Recently we have been working with Evelyn. She is a sister of one of the members in our ward and she lives with them. She has always been against it. Even the whole time I have been there every time we came over she always went into the other room. But recently she actually stayed and listened as we shared a spiritual message after dinner with them. She took an interest and the Book of Mormon and she really wants to figure this all out for herself. This was such a miracle of the Lord. He placed us in her path at the right time. After all these years he has been preparing his daughter, and now he trusts us to deliver this message to her. It is quite the responsibility. Our Father in Heaven trust us with his precious children and I am so honored for this special time I have to be a servant of the lord and share his gospel with others.
This transfer was crazy because so many people came and so many left. We had 15 new missionaries enter this mission this transfer. That's the largest group come in that I have seen so far. It is exciting to see them start their journey. I remember how I felt my first day in the field and it is a special feeling. This is going to be a fantastic transfer I can already tell. Elder Damon is so willing and ready to learn.
I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to continue this work here in the Del Campo ward. There are so many amazing things happening here and I am thankful for the Lord allowing me to be a part of it and witness it all. This is truly the Lord's work. We are just servants out here for Him to help Him accomplish His work. I know this is Christ's church once again restored to the earth. I know it is only by progressing in Christ's gospel that we can have true happiness and eventually eternal life. Most importantly though, I know we have a loving Father in Heaven who is the author of this wonderful plan for us to gain happiness and return to live with him.
Our last zone pic. We have such a small zone!
One of my favorite families, brother and sister Morgan.
My favorite AP, elder greenwood on his last day.
Finally got a pic with our investigator Florence at church,
