Turn to Him

Well this week was so amazing. On Thursday we were finally able to meet the new mission President and his Wife. President and Sister Hymas. I love them so much already. They are so fun and happy and loving all the time. They are just always so upbeat! I am so excited to now be working with them. As I reflect on the past 15 months I have been able to spend with President and Sister Jardine I am thankful for every moment I had with them. They have both changed my life forever. I can't even begin to explain all that I have learned from them. Their testimonies and examples have impacted me forever. I am now looking forward to having those same experiences with President and Sister Hymas. As they came around to visit all of the missionaries they talked a lot about miracles and how we should be seeking miracles daily. As full time missionaries for the church we are literally representatives of Christ. We should be asking for his help daily to see him pour down miracles in this great work. They shared a scripture with us as they talked about this. Mormon 9:19

And if there were miracles wrought then, why has God ceased to be God of miracles and
yet be an unchangeable Being? And behold, say unto you he changeth notif so he would cease to bGod; and he ceaseth not to be God, and is God of miracles.

I know that there are still miracles out there today and I am looking forward to seeing more of those miracles in our missionary work. I know that this is truly the work of God. This is his Church. He leads it through a living prophet, just like he has done throughout history.

Something awesome that happened this week was Jonathan came to church! He is a less active we have been working with for a couple of months now and he finally came to church. That is such a big deal for him because when we first met him he talked about how much he used to hate the church and how he never wanted to think about it or talk about it and now he has completely turned around. It is so amazing to see the change the our Savior Jesus Christ can make in our lives as we just turn to him. He is ready with open arms for anyone and everyone.

Love,

Elder Hallmark
