Well this week just flew by. In fact this whole transfer flew by. It was a shorter transfer, so it was only 5 weeks instead of 6. So this transfer I am still staying in the Laguna Creek 1st and 6th wards. Elder Carper however got transferred to the Diamond Springs ward out in the El dorado Zone. My new companion is Elder Daugherty. I am so excited to be with him. He is super cool. I am so glad I got a good companion for this transfer because this is a 7 week transfer. So you better like your companion or it is going to be a long 7 weeks. Well this transfer was a little different for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that Elder Daugherty was in my district last transfer. He just covered the next ward over. I have never heard of that happening before. Usually when a missionary gets transferred the leave to a different zone. The second reason why that this transfer is unusual is because this is my third companion from the same class of missionaries. I trained Elder Damon, and then I went with Elder Carper who also came out with Elder Damon. Now I am with Elder Daugherty who was Elder Damon's MTC companion. I guess Heavenly Father just needs me to learn something from this group of missionaries. Whatever the reason, I am excited to be with Elder Daugherty. This is going to be a fun transfer.
Something awesome that happened this week was be able to help out with a huge Nativity. Our stake held a nativity that included over 500 nativity sets. There were over 5,000 people that attended from the city of Elk Grove. It is always a big turn out. So as missionaries we helped people and showed them where they need to go and answer any questions they had. It was such an amazing setup at the church. There was a huge tree that had been carved out of Styrofoam and had running water coming out of the center. It was made to represent the Tree of Life in 1 Nephi 8. It was such a privilege to serve there. I am grateful for the opportunity to have helped out and witnessed it. It was truly amazing.
That's pretty much it for me this week. Not too many exciting things but there are miracles coming. I am so grateful for this Christmas season. There is honestly no where else I would rather be than on a mission sharing a message about Jesus Christ with those who are searching for him. It is such a blessing.

I also found a super cool native American carving in someone's front yard so I took a pic with it.
