Read and Know

This week has been so fun. I have barely had any time to even write in my journal I have been so busy. So last Monday a Sister in my zone, Sister Christofferson decided that we were going to perform in the Del Campo ward show. I played the hymn "Brightly Beams Our Fathers Mercy" on my ukulele while we both sang. We practiced all week for it and it was so fun when we performed. I will make sure I send a video. She wanted to do it because this is her last week before she goes home and the Del Campo ward was where she started her mission so it was nice to go back and see everyone. I'll make sure I send a video.

On Thursday we went on exchanges with the Elders from the Fair Oaks 5th ward. Thats where we switch companions for 24 hours. They are always fun because we learn so much during that short period of time.I stayed in my area with Elder Loeung. Elder Loeung is funny little Cambodian missionary from Hershey, Pennsylvania. We had such a good time and laughed so much. Elder Damon went in the Fair Oaks 5th ward with Elder Page. 

This week has been much better for teaching. We were able to meet with all of our investigators, (people who are learning about the church) and find 3 knew people to teach. It is always feel so good to share this message. There is not a greater feeling in the world than to see someone keep the commitments we have left them and watch them grow and progress in the gospel. It makes me so happy. It is so amazing because as missionaries we don't have to do anything. We just share the message with them and invite them to put it to the test. We invite them to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it. Heavenly Father does the rest. He answers their prayers and lets them know that these things are true. I love sharing it so much because I know it is true. I have received that answer to my prayer as I have prayed to know the truthfulness of it and I have seen how much it has change my life. I know it can change their lives as well and bring them more happiness than they can imagine. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ that has been restored to the earth. I know that our loving Heavenly Father has called a prophet on the earth in this day and age, just as he has done throughout history with people such as Noah, Moses, and Abraham. Most importantly I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. I know he has paid the price for our sins and he is the only way to true happiness and eternal life.
